I called Cole Services to see about installing a switch for my existing gas fireplace. I spoke to a girl by the name of Lori and she said a technician would be out the following day between 10 and 1 p.m. I live out of state, so i asked a friend to unlock our home and wait for the technician to arrive. My friend waited until 3 p.m. before a technician finally called and said he would be on his way. Five minutes later, he called back and said Lori had schedule the wrong technician. He only does HVAC and not fireplaces. He told us to call the company the next day to schedule the right person. I called the company back and spoke to Matt. He was extremely apologetic and said he would have someone out there by 8 a.m. the next morning and he would waive the $49 fee plus give us a $50 coupon off their services. I decided to give you another chance. This morning I receive a call from Nicole, supervisor, from Cole Services. She calls to tell me that they do not do install fireplace switches. I have never received such a run-around. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. They say they have been in business for 44 years. What a joke! I would never recommend this company to anyone.
