Took way longer than expected and charged more than quoted

I had this company work on my house. After 3 months of back-and-forth trying to get the work done, I thought he had stolen my money. Finally, after threatening with a lawsuit, he had a sub-contractor do the work. Because of this, they ended up charging more than he told me up front. You should definitely get an invoice with a specific materials and labor costs. DO NOT TRUST!
