Started calling claiming we didn't make a payment. We had the confirmation number that payment was made, but they tried telling us that didn't mean anything. Then they proceeded to tell us that the payment was not accepted even though I was looking at the bank account at the time balancing the check book and saw no evidence that the payment was sent back. They then tried to say that the bank wouldn't charge us an NSF fee if it went back to them. I worked in credit and billing for almost 10 years. I even know that they are full of it.
