I wish I could give this place 20 stars.
My car broke down on the freeway on my way to catching a flight out of LAX, about 1 mile from the airport. In between making arrangements to have my car towed back to town and having it taken care of I was trying to flag down a taxi. No one would stop off the 105 shoulder for me. I'm not kidding, more than 15 taxi's drove by without stopping. When I called a taxi service, I kept on getting transferred to different departments and was getting placed on hold for quite some time. I guess being stranded on the side of the freeway means I don't really fall into a particular city jurisdiction/they can't pull over on the side of the freeway/etc. Fine.
I noticed when I pulled up nearby taxi services on my phone that Shalom Express offered shuttle/limo service to LAX and since I was desperate I decided to give them a call. Joe answered on the first ring, said he would be there in 5 minutes and he was. I had let them know I didn't have cash on me but that I could pay by cc. Not only did he help me with the tow, but when we got to the airport he didn't take payment from me. He only asked that next time I needed a ride to use their services, and believe me I will.
They truly care about people, and had a level of professional excellence that is seldom seen today in the service industry.
I highly recommend the use of this company.
