PayPal permanently suspended my Account for no reason!
On 7/1/2020 I received a message directly from PayPal that my account was limited and I needed to provide my ID and proof of bank/social security number because my account showed activities "out of the normal". I had just sent one of my buyers an invoice for $7113.00 for some new computer hardware. I mainly use PayPal to sell new and used computer components. I am a small business owner but use PayPal Invoice for buyer’s peace of mind and security. Ever since I opened that account, I have been selling high value items like NVidia Graphics Cards, Samsung Memory, and SSD hard drives. I have an above average status and 100% positive feedback on eBay. All of the items I sell are shipped and I upload tracking online for the buyers to see status of shipping and PayPal will not release funds unless items are delivered and buyer approves delivery. I never sell any counterfeit items and all of my used computer components are throughly tested before they are sold. I have done everything how it should be. All of a sudden, PayPal sends me that message and I try to comply and upload required documentation. Once I submit that, I get a message that I am banned or how they like to say "You can no longer do business with PayPal. They are holding my money of course, after they take their fee! PayPal's customer service line is closed and all they kept doing was sending me automated messages until I was finally able to reach someone and all for them to tell me there is nothing they can do. That the decision is final and cannot be overturned and after 180 days and they will email me to see if I can take my money out. That is it! No explanation as to why they banned me. I keep asking for a answer and they keep giving me the run around that I violated the terms but can't tell me why for security purposes. It makes no sense! How are you going to accuse someone of doing fraudulent activities or risky behavior without having any type of proof? It is defamation on their behalf to tell me I am involved in those behaviors if they have no proof and closing my account out of assumptions. They are holding $28,433.43 and I can’t even pay my ebay fees due to the suspension and they are due and I can’t afford to pay eBay until they release my funds. My account was limited on July 1 2020 and till now I have no solution to the problem. It is upsetting and only adds more frustration that they're doing this during such tough economic times. I am sure I am not the only one they are doing this to. They are holding money to accrue interests off our money and to me this feels like a scam on their behalf. PayPal does not care for their customers. Paypal is a Horrible company that needs to fix their system and stop accusing legitimate sellers of being frauds!
