We contacted Advanced Computers to help us with our small business computing needs in August. We needed a technician to help us install a new laser printer to our two computers, in addition to a printer we were already using as a scanner/fax. Over five hours and three trips to our business later, they tried to charge us another $100 on top of the $200 we'd already paid them, even though they had totally uninstalled our existing printer and were unable to reinstall it, and the laser printer was not installed properly and would not print from either computer without totally re-booting each time. Now they are suing us in small claims court for breach of contract, saying we owe them an additional $1,000! A second company came out and fixed ALL the problems Advanced Computers had caused for us, and got us up and running just fine in a couple of hours. Now we have to lose more time and money going to court to defend ourselves, and we are counter-suing (based on our attorney's advice) for breach of contract. What a waste of everyone's time. I'm writing this review hoping that nobody else will have the same bad experience with this company. Also, the address they use is false. I tried to go there, and the business at that address is not Advanced Computers. Maybe he picks up his mail at a friend's business. I should have known something was up when he had me make out our check to his girlfriend, and not himself or his business.
I learned the hard way. Be sure you look into this business carefully before you allow them near your computers.
