FLORIDA BUSINESSES BEWARE! Compliance Services has a long history of deceptive mail solicitations in California, and now it appears they're targeting Florida companies. Letters come in bright green envelopes marked, "IMPORTANT, Annual Minutes Requirement Statement, Business Mail-Time Sensitive." Look closely, and you'll see that the return address is printed as "Tallahassee," but the postal permit stamp shows "Van Nuys, CA." This solicitation is a MAIL SCAM. According to the Florida Attorney General's office, the state of Florida closed an investigation against this company two years ago; however, the Florida Fraud Hotline has received a host of new complaints this year.
