As a property owner whose association is managed by LB, my experience with LB Property Management has been dismal. They have stonewalled many of my legitimate requests for financial documents, minutes of past meetings, print or e-mail versions of payables reports that are to be available to association members within 30 days of such requests. They have assigned 4 different property managers to our association in less than 1 year. They have a no-cash policy of not accept a cash payment in their offices for any services that they provide. That policy proved quite inconvenient and showed a lack of customer service and flexibility on their part when they charged me $23.80 for a photocopy of our Bylaws consisting of 19 pages. Unfortunately, my copy was missing from my escrow papers. Since I didn't have my check book with me because I wasn't told of their no-cash policy prior to visiting their office, I had to drive to my bank to bring back a money order. And even then, the copy of the Bylaws I was given had a page missing. Since June of 2010, I've been trying to get copies of the minutes of meetings that took place in the 1st quarter of 2010 to research the validity of an election that took place at that time, and they have yet to supply me with those copies as of 1 year later.

We are sorry that we let you down. It is our policy to make records available to owners upon request and that should happen. You should have been advised of the no cash policy prior to coming to the office. I am sure that upset you as it would have me. We definitely could have handled he entire situation better, please accept our apologies.
