I purchased 15mm H&R spacers with lug nuts about 2 weeks ago from ModBargins.com. After I installed the first spacer on the rear left wheel. As I start to back up I hear loud clicking from the back hub that I just put the spacer on. I then took off the spacer put back the OEM lug nuts and called ModBargins.I called Mod Bargins and Frank said "just come down and we will give you the right lug nuts". I drive down to Modbargins and Frank gets a tech to check out the wheel and spacers. Right then I tell my mechanic about the lug nuts that were too long and he agreed that this was damaged from the lug nuts being too long. The replaced the lug nuts with the correct ones. As I drive for the next couple of days I start to hear noise coming from the back left rear hub. I take it to my mechanic and he shows me where the emergency brake mechanism had been damaged. I had to pay 300 dollars to get the emergency brake fixed. I called ModBargins and told Frank what had happened and all he had to say was that I installed it and that the lug nuts that did the damage was the right part number. Ron the manager also said the same thing. That Modbargins is not responsible for the damages on my car because they say that those were the correct lug nuts. I contacted Turner Motor sports and they explained to me that the only way to get the right size lug nut is to measure the stock lug nut and then add 15mm if you are using 15 mm spacers. MODBARGINS DID NOT CHECK THE SIZE OF MY LUG NUT.
