WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER BUY FROM THIS SELLER, PERIOD!!!!!!!!!
I ordered an Abit mainboard for $150 in a panic, saw it here and figured I'd pay a little extra since it is out of production. Then I found this site and started to worry.
I opened the box to find a used motherboard in recycled anti-static bag, no certificate of refurb or any documentation. The website item description did not say OEM or refurbished or used, so one would assume NEW, right? WRONG!!!! ripoff.
There were obvious heat marks in the silicon on back, and the mounting screw solder points were melted away... what the hell? I thought, everyone else has been similarly disappointed by this seller, so I guess I'll just try my luck.
I hooked it up outside the case with ram and video only, and got 00 post code, which is a short. I fiddled with the board a bit and tried again and it posted. I loaded it in my case, and for the next day it worked fine. Then, I went to turn it on again and no response. 00 code again. I took it out of the case, replaced components with new ones, no luck. Dead board.
So that's what you get when you buy something without researching the seller carefully first. They shipped it in about a week (GREAT compared to others' experience) but I'm still screwed.
STOP SELLING USED CRAP!!!!!!! LABEL THE ITEM USED OR REFURB AND BE HONEST AND OPEN. You wasted my time and money.
