I hired John Koestler of Pines Roofing to repair my roof. He was paid in full to secure all loose tiles, fix a leak, and replace rotted wood on outside of house. He charged me $3000 for this job. I found out after I paid him, that he did not even do 1/2 if the job I paid him to do. He did not secure all the tiles, fix the leak or replace the rotted wood. I sued Mr. Koestler in court and won the judgment, although he has not made any attempt to pay me. He admitted in mediation that he charged me $1500 for materials, but refused to show me the reciept, stating that he did not have to. Come to find out, that the only material he needed if he were to do the job he was paid to do, was glue 2 planks of wood, which would cost no more than $100 dollars. He also admitted that he overcharged me, but refused to give me my money back. I have sent Mr. Koestler several letters explaining that we just moved into our first house, and are expecting our first child and really need our money back because we still need to get the roof repaired, however he has ignored all correspondenses.
