After a significant amount of time and effort put into researching countless foreclosure consulting companies, I finally decided on Samaritan Financial after attending one of their free workshops on predatory lending practices. I was impressed by their knowledge and genuine interest in wanting to help me and was especially floored by how quickly and aggressively they went after my lender (who by the way took me for thousands of dollars in fees and payments). In the end (after 5 months of living on pins and needles) my loan was finally modified with a lower fixed rate (5.75%) and a payment $450 less than what I was paying before. My only gripe was not being able to get them on the phone right away when I needed a question answered, but I always got a call back or an email reply within 24 hours so I guess it wasnt too bad. Ive already referred 3 of my friends to them and as far as Im told they are all happy with Samaritan Financials services.
