Was referred by a friend, went to trusting/believing this company was able to process a home loan modification on my property. Signed a deposit "good faith" contract paying $1500 and was verbally told by the Owner and the employee he assigned us to that our deposit was fully refundable if their office was unable to successfully process my loan modification.
After 91/2 months they were unable to process the loan modification and now are not refunding my deposit as they promised when we signed on. The party that referred us is also unable to get their deposit refunded.
I have written a formal request for the deposit refund and followed up with a call and no refund as of today.
