I helped my 90 yr old grandmother pick out a mattress set for her new home. Ricky, our salesperson, insisted she try all of them, even thought we told him nothing too pricy, but not the cheap ones. Grandma said semifirm. She liked the Orthopedic II twin, and he quoted us $290.00 with the frame. When my husband went back to pick it up with grandma, Ricky showed her the Elegant twin. She told him several times it was not the same one, but he told her they were all orthopedic mattresses. She gave in, and they took the Elegant. When I went to put her bedding on and noticed the wrong one, we went back. I spoke to Ricky, and he said that was the one she had liked, and agreed to take it. I told him she said several times it was the wrong one. He said she is OLD and CONFUSED!!. How rude. I think he figured we would just take the cheaper mattress. Both were on sale, but the Orthopedic brand was more that the Elegant brand. She is pretty sharp for her age, and she knew exactly which one she was supposed to get. He took back the wrong one, and after finding one that was not dirty and torn, we left. I will not return to this store when I buy my new livingroom set. He should have just apologized, and that would have been good for me, but he tried to say we were wrong, and acted like he was doing us a favor exchanging it.
