ORDERED NOVEMBER 29, 2012 RECEIVED FINAL PRODUCT JUNE 4, 2013
|
I placed an order with this company on November 29, 2012 for tenor practice pads. This was to be a Christmas gift [the big one] for my nephew of whom my husband and I have custody. I followed up after a couple of weeks of not hearing anything other than to have the payment taken from my account immediately. At that time the recordings were saying that orders placed by a certain date would be shipped in time for Christmas delivery and mine was within the timeframe stated. Unfortunately, Christmas came and went and we did not receive the item. I sent various emails to Jennifer who initially responded fairly quickly. This went back and forth until we finally received the first item on January 4, 2013 and it was broken. We filed a claim with UPS and advised XYMOX that we had received a broken product. Jennifer again responded quickly and advised they would take care of it. On February 21, 2013 I contacted UPS to check on the status of the claim and was advised that I had to contact the seller. I emailed Jennifer with no response to my inquiry until March 7, 2013 wherein she advised that a replacement had been shipped on February 20, 2013. I believe this was not true because I received a shipment notification and tracking information for the first shipment as well as the shipment we ultimately received on June 4, 2013. I did not receive any notification of shipment of a product on February 20, 2013. It seemed in her email she was trying to indicate that perhaps we were the problem and not them. The last response I received from this company was on March 14, 2013. From that point until June 4, 2013 I sent multiple emails with no response. Not even to the email I sent asking for a refund on March 20, 2013. They never responded and never refunded my money. We finally did receive the product on June 4, 2013. This, by the way, was a full 2 months after I received the shipment notification from UPS. It did not actually leave their facility until around the first of June, 2013. Incidentally my nephew who is in band in High School is now going into his senior year and will be the lead snare. He no longer needs this tenor pad and there is no way we will be ordering a snare pad through this company. I rarely take the time to write reviews, however, this has caused quite a bit of frustration and has dragged on for so long I feel I should caution potential customers. If you really want an item from this company order it well in advance and be prepared to do alot of follow up.
